另外有一個英文單字 manufacturer（聽發音）本身是的有生產線的廠家或產品製造商，有時候也翻譯為廠商，比 factory 更適合當廠商英文的表達，前面提到的 firm 或 company 泛指各類型的公司，包含商業服務或貿易公司，不一定會有製造產品的生產工廠，如果中文提到的廠商是指擁有生產工廠的廠商，那用 manufacturer 是貼切的，舉例來說，我們常說的合作廠商英文是 cooperation manufacturer。
